IMPORTANT - WATER OUTAGE MAY 17, 2026

CONCORDIA PATRONS - It has finally been determined that one of the pumps on the Concordia line was struck by lightening in the storm and was burned up. The tower is virtually empty and most patrons are without water. We are locating a well drilling company to come pull the pump and replace it. The timeframe on this is unknown at this time. Timeframe to have water to you is also unknown at this time but please plan on being without water until sometime Monday. We will notify you as we have more information.

You can pickup 2 cases of water at the Armory until 8:00 tonight. Please let them know you are on the rural water district. If necessary, water will be available in the morning also. We will let you know the location at that time.

Emergency preparedness has been notified and KDHE has been notified. Due to the lost pressure on the system, a boil water advisory will most likely be issued once service is restored. 

Livestock producers you can access bulk water at the City of Concordia shop located on Mill street.
