We have received notice from a patron that they have discolored water this morning (patron lives along 81 highway). This is due to the leak repair on Monday at 81/Noble. It is impossible for the District to know if, when, or where discolored water is going to appear following a leak repair. Once we receive notice from a patron, however, we can start flushing water lines in the area that disscolored water has been identified to minimize the transport of manganese and iron through the pipes. Due to where the discolored water is located today, flushing will be done along 81 highway and down Noble Rd.

A leak has been located at 81 and Noble Rd. Water will be shut off for patrons located north of 81 and Noble  beginning @ 9:00 am this morning, Monday, August 4, 2025 until water line repair is complete. A text will be sent out once repair is complete and water service is restored. 

Patrons on BOTH Concordia and Jamestown systems - please be aware that as of 11:00am, Wednesday, March 19, 2025 the electricity servicing the wells at Concordia and Jamestown have lost power from the high winds. Rolling Hills is aware and will do their best to get power restored as soon as possible. We will get the generator going to power Concordia right now. Jamestown should be Ok for a few hours based on average usage. Currently the water available for use is what is in lines and the towers. Please conserve water for the time being until electricity is restored.

Concordia Patrons - Those patrons who live along highway 24 and south of highway 24 going WEST of 81 highway will experience a water outage while Hoods repairs a leak that is under the highway at 24 and 110th Road. Expect water to shut off in morning and be off most of the day until the leak is repaired.

The Cloud County RWD1 Annual Meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2025 has been POSTPONED & RESCHEDULED for Wednesday, February 26th at 7:00pm at the Cloud County Tourism Office, 130 W. 6th St., Concordia.

Also, as we will be experiencing extremely cold temperatures tonight, it would be a good idea to keep a small stream of water running in an indoor faucet through the night to keep pipes and meters from freezing up.
