Saturday, January 11, 2025 / Categories: General News January 11, 2025 - Current Water District News CONCORDIA PATRONS -THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY – FOR YOUR INFORMATION ONLY: For the past week, the water tower has been having difficulty keeping up with water demand. Since this is unusual for this time of the year, there may be a water leak somewhere on the system which will be very difficult to locate with all the snow cover. We have NOT had anyone call regarding low water pressure and only a couple of calls regarding discolored water. We request that you keep your eyes open for any signs of a water leak - pools of water, spraying water out of the ground, or anything else that looks unusual or suspicious around your house or on the roads you drive leading to your house. If you can, please look at your meter pit to see if there is any water running out from under the lid as we have had multiple pit leaks recently. Patrons who are watering cattle, please be sure that you are only watering as absolutely necessary. Again, we are not aware of any water issues at this time but please notify us if you have been experiencing low water pressure or considerable water quality issues in the past week or so. Also, if you are running extra water continuously for some reason, please let us know.
