The water outage experienced by patrons in the past week is resolved and water service restored to those who have been without. With the assistance of the Kansas Rural Water Association, leaks were repaired and pressure restored throughout the Concordia water system. The line break at 81 highway and Noble Rd still needs to be permanently repaired at a future date, but poses no issues currently. We are in the process of flushing lines to improve water quality. If you are experiencing discolored water, please contact the office. The office now has a cell phone number 785-275-1973 (which you can text) in addition to our regular office number of 785-243-7929. When texting the new cell phone, please state who is texting so that we will know who it is until we can get everyone's number in it.

We expect that the Water Conservation Plan, level 1 will be rescinded tomorrow and normal usage (watering livestock, watering lawns, etc) will be restored. This will be posted on the website and announced on NCKtoday.com.
